Art enthusiasts should make a point to visit the Homer Watson House and Gallery. Homer Watson was Canada’s first famous landscape artist, and this place allows you to see where he did all of his amazing artwork. Walk into his studio which contains his original palette, easel and paint box.

It’s interesting to note the large frieze on the wall that he painted, containing names of 13 European artists whom he admired. This was done in 1894. Find this house and gallery at 1754 Old Mill Road.
