Christkindl Market - A Festival of German Christmas
Based on a 400 year old tradition, Kitchener's Christkindl Market offers visitors the opportunity to shop for presents, enjoy tasty German food and listen to live festive entertainment. This 4-day festival marketplace occupies the entire Rotunda, Duke Street lobby and outdoor Civic Square at Kitchener City Hall.
For many visitors from across Canada and throughout the US, Kitchener's City Hall is the place to be in December each year. It is a place to shop for that special gift, to relax and enjoy a gluhwein, to meet your friends and simply to have a good time. There is something for everyone.
